Constance Quigley-Flaherty, most affectionately known as Mom, Nana, Connie and "Momma Quig" of Parkland, FL died April 22, 2014 at the age of 81.

Connie was born March 2, 1933 in New York, New York and was the only child to Frank and Eleanor Muniz. She was raised in Manhattan and met her husband, John Harold Quigley while working at the World Trade Center. Connie and John made the city of Parkland their home in 1962. Being one of the founding families of Parkland, Connie and John were instrumental in preserving the City Charter, John served as the 4th Mayor and Connie as City Clerk. Quigley Park in Parkland is a reminder of their dedication and love for the City.

After John's passing Connie made what is fondly referred to as "the ranch" a foundation for the Quigley family. There she raised three sons; Mark, Peter and Sean, grandchildren and lots of animals. She sowed the seeds of family tradition and reaped years of priceless memories. "Momma Quig's" door was always open as were her loving arms. She will be forever remembered for her grace, generosity and strength.

Connie was preceded in death by her husband John Harold Quigley, husband John Paul Flaherty and her oldest son Mark Kendall Quigley. She is survived by her two loving sons Peter and Sean, and her six grandchildren; Melissa, Jessica, Delaney, John Carl, Rachel and Rebekah. Connie will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

Graveside services will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Sunday, April 27, 2014 at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens North, 200 West Copans Road, Pompano Beach, FL, 33064. Forest Lawn Funeral Home North have been entrusted with arrangements.
